Trip Plan

Day 1:Fly to Nepalgunj, 8/9 hours’ drive to Gopghat, overnight in tented camp

Morning Breakfast in Hotel and our company representative transfer you to Kathmandu domestic airport. After one-hour scenic flight we reach to Nepalgunj airport and meet rafting and fishing members. Then we will have private car/van ride to Kohalpur where we meet east-west highway. After Kohalpur we drive via Mahakali Hoghway via beautiful settlement of Terai area followed by the snaky highway in hilly forest of rhododendron and pine trees. When you reach to Syaule Bazar we take right turn and drive via Seti Highway entering into thick forest followed by beautiful farming terraces spreading on the both sides of Seti River. 7-hour Car/Van ride finally takes us to beautiful town Dipayal Gopghat) situated in bank of Seti River. Upon arriving in Gopghat, we set our camp near River Bank of Seti Karnlai River. Overnight in Tent.

Day 2:Rafting with Fishing in Seti River and overnight in Tented Camp

Today is the first day of our angling in Seti. We wake up early in morning, have breakfast and make the rafts ready. After being well equipped and briefed by rafting professional, we start rafting. One raft with ration and supplies goes before us and waits in Camp. Today we float over Seti passing beautiful farming terraces and settlements on both sides of river for sometimes. We will raft in medium grade rapid today. Pristine vegetation, small streams and waterfalls give us very peaceful feeling. After 3-4 hour rafting we reach to our Camp for lunch. After lunch we set fishing rod and enjoy fishing all the day. In evening, we enjoy camp fire, drinks and tasty food. As Goonch fish is active in night we can even make good catch in nighttime also. Overnight in Tented Camp.

Day 3:Raft Down with Fishing and overnight in Tented Camp

From very morning we start fishing around Camp. We try fishing each and every corners around and there will be high chances of catching Golden Maseer, Goonch and Asala. In the day local farmer and animal herders may visit us and observe the fishing. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner will be served at camp along with camp fire and night angling. overnight in Tented Camp.

Day 4:Raft Down to the The River with fishing and overnight in overnight in Tent (Budhi Ganga Confluence)

After breakfast, we start rafting in a medium level rapid. We admire view of unspoiled forest on the both sides of river as well as we pass beautiful springs on the way. We will have picnic lunch and reach to Camp in late afternoon. Camp is located in very isolated place surrounded with lush forest around nearby confluence of Seti and Budhi Ganga. We will do angling around confluence all the day. Today also we are likely to catch Himalayan trout, Sahar, Masheers and Goonch. In evening we enjoy camp fire along with tasty dine with night fishing. overnight in Tented Camp.

Day 5:Full Day Fishing Seti River and Overnight in Same Camp

For the whole day, we fish around Camp. In This camping place has chances of catching Golden Masheer and Silver Masheer, Bokar and giant catfish. We set fishing rod corners of Seti and Karnali rained and make more catches and release the catches back to river. River confluence are best place to catch migrating fishes. Day 6:Raft Down with Fishing and overnight in Tented Camp

After 6 days rafting in fishing in Seti, today we raft and enjoy in pristine water of Karnali River. After having breakfast we raft to most favorite fishing spot called Masheer Camp. Rafting across III grade rapid of Karnali and passing through narrow gorge we reach to Camp after four hour rafting. Upon arriving in Masheer Camp we have lunch and set fishing rod to catch valuable golden and silver Masheer. This place has record of catching 139 cm Maheers in the past. In evening we enjoy camp fire, snack, drinks and dinner. Overnight in Tented Camp.

Day 7:Karnali Rafting with Fishing and overnight in Tented Camp

Today we will only do rafting. All the day we raft over rapid currents of more than 3 grade and pass via narrow gorge of Karnali. We will have picnic lunch in between. After adventurous rafting we reach to Rato Bhale Gaun where we set our camp. In evening we will enjoy campfire, snack and dinner. Overnight in Rato Bhale Gaun.. Overnight in Tented Camp.

Day 8:Karnali Rafting with Fishing and overnight in Tented Camp

After having breakfast, we raft towards Ghat Gaun for three hours. Upon arriving Ghat Gaun we will set our camp at river bank and start angling in Karnali River. Today we meet other local fishing veterans who have been living their life by fishing since ages. Today we likey catch, catfish, Asala and Masheers etc. In evening also angler try to catch Goonch and enjoy campfire and dinner in Camp. Overnight in Tented Camp.

Day 9:Raft till Chisapani and out, drive to Nepalgunj, fly to Kathmandu

Today is last day of our trip. After breakfast we fish for sometimes and raft to Chisapani, the put out point of rafting. Chiapani is beautiful tourist place situated on the bottom of hill from where Karnali widens its size and enter into Terai area. After enjoying mouthwatering lunch with local fish in Chisapani we drive to Nepalgunj to catch late afternoon flight to Kathmandu. Upon arriving Kathmandu domestic airport, representative from Real Adventure Nepal Tour and travel transfer you to hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
